Rutgers University, in East Brunswick, NJ, will offer a semester-long course on equine nutrition open to anyone with a high school diploma and interest in the subject.

The class runs from January 19 to May 2 and meets twice a week, Monday and Wednesday from 6:10 to 7:30 pm. Tuition is $465 for those who sign up before December 13 or $485 for signups after December 13. Dr. Sarah Ralston, a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Nutrition, is the instructor.
