Toronto, ON — Less than two weeks ago, a Mach Three colt named Shiny Mach was involved in one of the most horrific accidents Woodbine has witnessed, in the final of the Ontario Boys Series.

Shiny Mach has won four of his 12 lifetime starts, with earnings of $42,680.

But Shiny Mach has bounced back from that unfortunate experience, and will be making his first start back after the mishap, in Saturday night’s (March 14) C$35,000 second leg of the Cam Fella Pacing Series, where he’ll endeavor to keep his shiny side up!

Jack Moiseyev will be taking over the lines from Roger Mayotte, who sustained a broken arm and dislocated shoulder while parting from Shiny Mach’s bike on March 2.

Shiny Mach, who captured the C$47,600 final of the Snowshoe Pacing Series at Woodbine in January, has been rated the 9-2 third choice in a field of eight who will go postward in the first of two Cam Fella splits on March 14 (race six, post time 9:15 p.m.). He’ll be up against first leg winner Beach Boy Toy, who’s the morning line favorite but will be leaving from the far outside.

The second of the two Cam Fella divisions on Saturday (race nine, post time 10:18 p.m.) will feature Don Lindsey trainee Card Dealer, who also captured one of the Cam Fella openers last week, and My Masterpiece, the runner-up in that contest.

Also in the mix is Dancing With Fire, a 4-year-old son of The Panderosa, making his first foray north of the border for trainer Norm Parker of Houston, Pa. Dancing With Fire has already chalked up four wins, a second and a third in seven starts so far this year, and may be the dark horse in this field.

The final of the Cam Fella Pacing Series is scheduled for Saturday, March 21.
