Showherthemoney equaled Not Enough’s 1:49 world record in capturing the Nadia Lobell on Monday at The Red Mile.

Luc Ouellette was in the bike for trainer Tracy Brainard as the Cam’s Card Shark-Stienam’s Place miss crossed the finish line in a personal best clocking of 1:49, equaling the world record for a 3-year-old pacing filly on a mile track. The victory was her sixth in 15 season’s starts, while improving her season’s bankroll to $326,360.

Showherthemoney got away second as 2-5 favorite (and stablemate) Not Enough (Mark MacDonald) took the field to the opening quarter in :27.1. These two were shuffled back to second and third, respectively, as Dingle Bay (Matt Kakaley) brushed to the front in a sizzling :53.3 half-mile clip.

Ouellette took Showherthemoney off the rail down the backstretch and she circled the leaders and was in front by 1-1/2 lengths at the 1:22 three-quarter pole. From there it was all Showherthemoney as she posted a :27 final quarter to reach the wire in the final time of 1:49. Precious Stone (Peter Wrenn) rallied in the lane to finish second, while Not Enough held third.
