Shu Hanover posts Fox Sports Net Series win in 1:50.2

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – April 14, 2005 – Shu Hanover shot up the pylons and cleared in time to post his third straight win in the $19,000 second leg of the Fox Sports Net Series, the sixth race on Thursday night at the Meadowlands.

Shu Hanover [$5.00, $4.40, $2.40], driven by David Miller and trained by; Ken Rucker, scored a one length victory over Whodunit [$6.20, $3.60]. Casey’s Bonanza [$3.20], who cut most of the fractions, held on for third, two lengths back.

Shu Hanover paced the mile in 1:50.2 for his sixth win in 12 starts this year. The four-year-old gelded son of Arturo – Shrewd Lady, races for the partnership of the Rucker Stable of Beecher, Illinois; Jordan Sklut of Portage, Indiana and Peter Barounes of Porter, Indiana.

The $46,285 Fox Sports Net Final is on April 21.
