Standardbred Mixed Sale begins

Columbus, OH — The Standardbred Mixed Sale began on Friday morning (Nov. 6) in Harrisburg, Pa., following on the heels of the successful four-day yearling sale.

Among the broodmares sold today was Letsjustalkaboutme, a 5-year-old daughter of Self Possessed-Armrbo Talk, who went for a bid of $190,000 to Diamond Creek Farm. A winner of $56,338 on the track, Letsjustalkaboutme had a 4-year-old mark of 1:56.1s. She is in foal to 2007 Horse of the Year Donato Hanover.

Feels Like Magic, a 4-year-old daughter of Kadabra-Doyenne, was hammered down for $160,000 to John Dunn, agent. She earned $160,898 in two season’s on the track and had a mark of 1:56.1s taken as a sophomore. She is in foal to 2008 Trotter of the Year Deweycheatumnhowe.
