FT. WASHINGTON, MD – Four divisions of the Maryland Sire Stakes finals for 3-year-old pacers and trotters are set to be contested this coming Saturday at Rosecroft Raceway in an event dubbed the “Summer Showdown”.

The first mile, worth a purse of $43,000, comes in race three for sophomore trotting fillies. Dilly Dally Delia will open on the board as the 1/5 morning line choice from post position five. The daughter of Go Get Lost, owned by Benjamin Brooks, has won both of her preliminary divisions of the stakes races in decreasing times. Last time out, the filly trotted to a 19 3/4 length Maryland Sire Stakes record in 1:57.3 with Vic Kirby at her lines. Trainer John Wilkerson has again named Kirby as driver for the upcoming race.

Also contending are Secret Impression (John Wagner, 8/1), Loss Limitation (George Banks, 20/1), Teenie Beanie (Syl King Jr., 15/1), Et And Al (Jonathan Roberts, 8/1), Struttin Gabi (Walter Callahan, 20/1) and Go Get Blanche (Dan Myer, 15/1).

Montabello Jake, who will leave the gate from post three, was a winner last week in 2:00.4. Trained by King Jr., the Go Get Lost gelding will have Donnie Russell in the bike for a third consecutive week.
