Analysis:

Race 7: Looks like any of the eight entrants can take this one. (2) Yo Cheyenne Rocky put in a decent speed try two back then needed a search party to be found in an amazing 1:52.4 mile last time. Needed a qualifier off that mile and put in a solid placing in race that will likely help him. Gets first decent post in a while and looks as good as any in here. (4) I’m Not Telling had steady rally from seven hole despite being impeded at the start in local debut. Finds slightly better spot and can be tough. (8) Midnight Cowboy started his sophomore campaign by reeling off three impressive scores at Hazel Park. Hasn’t done much since shipping east but did make two moves in 1:51.4 Pocono mile three back and showed good speed in first Yonkers try two back. Draws eight hole but has more wins than rest of field combined and wouldn’t be a total surprise to see him gunning to the top.

Race 8: (3) Triple Major drops after finishing fast against tougher. (4) Sectionlinecruiser chased strong winner home for place with :28.2 kicker, that winner stepped up to repeat in 1:53 mile here last week. Chance to make amends off that 3-5 loss.

Race 9: The races seem to get tougher as I go along so I’ll stick inside with (1) Southwind Milo who couldn’t rally out of the pocket from spot similar to tonight’s. The 4-year-old is 0 for 13 on the year and has a woeful five for 51 career resume but has raced consistently well at this level in recent and there are no world beaters in here. (3) Diane’s Shark went an improved mile switching to the half-miler and looks like the one to catch.

Race 10: (1) Activator had explosive rally down the lane to handle this level for second straight time, the other win an uncovered :55.3 final half score on July 5. Gets the rail and can show speed. (2) Great Soul will likely be in the pocket behind top one and is a threat to go by late.

Good luck.
