Springfield, IL — Harness racing at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield has been cancelled for Thursday (August 16) due to rain.

The card has been tentatively re-scheduled for 12:00 noon on Friday, August 17, with the decision to actually race being decided on Friday morning.

If racing cannot be held in Springfield on Friday, the remaining Colt Stakes finals will be conducted Monday (August 20) at Balmoral Park.
