Ticket To Rock wins $185,000 Bluegrass 3-year-old filly pace

Lexington, KY — A bulky field of 12 was in action on Friday (Oct. 15) at The Red Mile in the $185,000 Bluegrass Series for 3-year-old filly pacers and when the smoke had cleared Ticket To Rock and David Miller were first to the wire in a time of 1:51.

The Rocknroll Hanover-Odds On J P miss rallied to her tenth win in 16 season’s starts for owners Let It Ride Stables, Jack Darling Stables, Robert Cooper Stables and Jerry Silva. The Jeff Webster trainee has now earned $302,534 in 2010 and $537,995 lifetime.

Ticket To Rock held off Best Boss (Mike Lachance) at the wire with Seriously (Jody Jamieson) third.

“I was just hoping to get to the outside,” said David Miller of his filly, who started in the second tier from post position 11. “She got to leaning in some at the wire. Jeff (trainer Webster) is doing really well and I’m glad to be a part of it.”
