Time For Her Hero is top pick in Rosecroft pace

Ft. Washington, MD — Time For Her Hero, a 6-year-old pacing mare by Western Hero, is the 3-1 early choice in a non-winners event at Rosecroft Raceway on Saturday (Jan. 27) from post three.

Racing for owner J. Belle Bauman, Time For Her Hero will have Donnie Russell in the sulky. Trained by Manley Brown, Jr. for the John Wagner Stable, the mare recently finished second at Freehold Raceway in an optional $10,000 claiming event. A winner of nearly $120,000 lifetime, Time For Her Hero has a lifetime mark of 1:53.1 taken at Colonial Downs in 2004.

Also facing the starter are Silly Tune (Jerry Nock, 6-1), Badlands Bad Girl (Kelly Staten, 8-1), Missyoulin (Matt Stelick, 4-1), Twin B Scamper (Corey Braden, 7-2), Keystone Demi (Corey Callahan, 10-1), Cannae Peggy (Frank Milby, 9-2) and Maybud (Wayne Long, 10-1).

Post time for Saturday’s 12-race card is 7:20 p.m.
