Nichols, NY — In a letter dated April 26, 2007, the New York State Racing and Wagering Board has approved Tioga Downs’ request to add live racing on Wednesday, July 4, to its racing schedule.

Post time for the special July 4th card will be at 6:50 p.m. (EDT) with a fireworks show after the races.

Vernon Downs will also race on Wednesday, July 4, with a post time of 1:15 p.m. (EDT).
