USTA at sales this weekend

Columbus, OH — The USTA will be set up at multiple sales in Indiana and Ohio this weekend. Representatives will be at the Midwest Mixed and Michiana Classic Yearling sales this Friday and Saturday (Nov. 23-24) at the Michiana Event Center in Shipshewana, Ind. Member services will also be at the Mid-Ohio Standardbred Yearling Sale at the Mt Hope Event Center on Saturday (Nov. 24).

Representatives will be available at both locations to process ownership transfers, memberships and Hoof Beats subscriptions, take foal registrations and conduct any other USTA business.

Representatives at the Mid-Ohio Yearling Sale will also be conducting a Q & A session before the sale to assist those new to the industry with transferring ownership, registering foals and to discuss the transition from freeze branding to microchipping as the primary means of identification starting with foals of 2019.

Assistance in setting up a USTA MyAccount is also available so members can access Seller Signatures (for when a horse is consigned to a participating sale). The following upcoming sales are accepting Seller Signatures from your USTA MyAccount:

Midwest Mixed Sale (Nov. 23)
Michiana Classic Yearling Sale (Nov. 24)
January Select Mixed Sale (Jan. 21)

Other benefits of having a USTA MyAccount include Owner’s Dashboard (where owners receive free program pages for their in-to-go horses), Online Entry (for currently licensed trainers) and online mating certificate release and foal registrations.

Select logo items and books will also be available for sale. Acceptable means of payment include cash, check and credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express).
