USTA entries and results go mobile

by John Pawlak, the U.S. Trotting Association

Columbus, OH — U.S. harness racing results and entries are now available to the fastest growing segment of the telecommunications industry, those who use smart phones, such as the Apple iPhone, BlackBerry, G1, or any other handheld device that has access to the Internet. The mobile address is http://mobile.ustrotting.com/.

Today, the U.S. Trotting Association unveiled mobile.ustrotting.com, an Internet site at which users of all Web-enabled telephones and PDAs will be able to follow their favorite sport.

Users have the ability to view the past eight days of results and all entries for races conducted at pari-mutuel tracks and fairs in the United States.

In addition, users may search by horse name to see details of that horse’s most recent start, if within 90 days, and view the entire field of any upcoming race in which that horse has been entered if it is currently in-to-go in at the abovementioned tracks.

The debut of the new site, offered at no charge to users, comes on the heels of the recent debut of the U.S. Trotting Association’s newly designed and improved racing entries and results Web page, http://racing.ustrotting.com, that is viewed millions of times each month.
