USTA moving to temporary headquarters on Monday, Aug. 25

from the USTA Communications Department

Columbus, OH — The United States Trotting Association’s offices and staff will be moving to temporary headquarters starting on Monday (Aug. 25).

The USTA recently completed the sale of the offices at Michigan Avenue and purchase of a newer building in Columbus that requires preparations and renovations before it will be ready to be occupied and functional. The new USTA building, which will bring the entire staff under one roof, is better suited for the size of the organization and more cost efficient than the current headquarters.

At the conclusion of the work day on Friday (Aug. 22), the internet and phone service will be transferred from 750 Michigan Avenue and will operate normally in the temporary offices starting Aug. 25. Business hours will be the same, the website will operate in the usual manner and all processes for membership services will remain as they are now.

The only significant change during the transition involves deliveries and visitors to the temporary location.

All first-class, Express and Priority mail through the U.S. Postal Service and all UPS shipments should continue to be sent to the USTA at the current address until further notice: USTA, 750 Michigan Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215.

Effective Aug. 25, all other shipments including Federal Express or any other overnight delivery courier must be sent to the following address and be received by designated deadlines: USTA, 2720 Airport Drive, Columbus, OH 43219.

Also starting Aug. 25, visitors to the USTA should come to the Airport Drive address until further notice.

Further details on the move to the USTA’s new, permanent location will be announced at a later date.
