Lexington, KY — Roger Hammer and Todd Schadel’s Vivid Photo was a wire-to-wire winner in the $10,000 Allerage Farm Open Trot on Saturday (September 29) at The Red Mile.

Trainer/driver Hammer took the 5-year-old S J’s Photo gelding right to the top from post seven and never looked back, cutting fractions of :28.1, :56, 1:24 and 1:51.2. The mile equaled the national season’s mark for an older trotting gelding, set by Corleone Kosmos in the Nat Ray at The Meadowlands.

Yonkers Trot winner Green Day (Andy Miller) rallied to finish second, while Ripped (Jody Jamieson) was third.

Vivid Photo has now won six times in 13 trips to the post this year, with his ’07 earnings climbing to $675,749.
