Martinsville, IL — The second annual Windy City Yearling Sale has been scheduled for Sunday, September 19 at Balmoral Park.

We have once again chosen the Sunday after “Super Night” to hold our sale for a number of reasons. First, we hope that this will give the owners and trainers a more convenient opportunity to come together and enjoy our wonderful industry on Illinois’ best weekend of racing. We also provide your last chance to pick out the horses that will be competing in next year’s “Super Night” festivities.

Yearling inspection: Saturday, September 18, from 9:00 a.m. — 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 19, from 9:00 a.m. — 11:00 a.m.

Sale: Sunday, September 19 at 11:00 a.m.

The sale will be held in the paddock at Balmoral Park. We hope that you agree there is not a better time or place to buy great yearlings in Illinois, than Chicago, on Orange and Blue Weekend!

We are now accepting entries into the 2004 sale. Entries will officially close on June 1, but because of limited space the sales company reserves the right to close entries whenever necessary.
