183 entered in Breeders Crown; Elims for all but Open Trot
October 19, 2021,Cranbury, NJ – The names of 183 horses were dropped into the entry box for this year’s Breeders Crowns, which has eliminations on Friday night (Oct. 22) and Saturday afternoon (Oct. 23) at The Meadowlands.
Eleven of the 12 divisions will require eliminations over the weekend, with only the Open Trot going directly to the final with 11 entered. The four finals for 2-year-olds will be contested Friday night (Oct. 29) and the eight finals for 3-year-olds and the older horses will be raced Saturday afternoon (Oct. 30)
The draw for all eliminations will take place on Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 19), with the fields posted when available.
