Ashley Mailloux joins Post Time with Mike and Mike

Elkton, MD — Post Time with Mike and Mike presented by the USTA/BetAmerica is proud to announce that Ashley Mailloux will join the broadcast team beginning in June at the Pepsi North America Cup at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

Mailloux a native of Buffalo, N.Y., fell in love with racing as a toddler while attending races with her parents at Fort Erie Race Track. She has traveled to different tracks across North America, visiting more than 40 throughout her short career.

Mailloux completed her math degree at Transylvania University in Kentucky before completing her Masters of Science in Applied Mathematics, which she received at the University of Dayton.

She has served as a guest handicapper for several special events, including most recently the Preakness Stakes broadcast at Pimlico Race Course. She is currently the paddock analyst at Fort Erie Race Track and a freelance analyst for the Maryland Jockey Club.

While most of her experience is with Thoroughbreds, she has been to more than a dozen harness tracks and previously worked at Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway. Her family has been involved with Standardbreds, with her aunt working for Gene and Alan Riegle.

“Everyone involved with Post Time with Mike and Mike truly loves the sport and that’s evident from the show.  I’m very excited to join the team and look forward to covering some great races,” said Mailloux.

Mailloux joins the team of Garnet Barnsdale and Nicholas “Ace” Barnsdale who will work remotes throughout 2019. She will join the team at the Pepsi North America Cup, Hambletonian, Canadian Pacing Derby, and Breeders Crown where she will serve as co-host, analyst, and provide winner’s circle reaction.

“Ashley is known to provide great analysis and her knowledge of the sport mixes well with racing fans, horsemen, and gamblers alike,” said co-host Michael Carter.

“We are excited to have Ashley as a part of the team, and look forward to working with her at major events this season,” added Mike Bozich.

Post Time with Mike and Mike presented by the USTA/BetAmerica can be heard every Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. The 2019 live remote season kicks off on Friday night at The Raceway at Western Fair District beginning at 8:30 p.m.
