With the fall sale season upon us, the USTA member services team will be on the road to meet with members and process any USTA paperwork.

A total of 41 rule and bylaw change proposals have been submitted to the U.S. Trotting Association and will be voted upon by the full board of USTA Directors in March at the 2025 annual meeting in Columbus, Ohio.

The United States Trotting Association will be offering a two day, 16-hour continuing education seminar at Harrah’s Hoosier Park Casino Racetrack (Anderson, Ind.) on Sunday (Nov. 24), beginning at 9 a.m. and concluding on Monday afternoon (Nov. 25).

The Winner’s Circle Speed Sale Company will conduct its third annual yearling sale on Thursday (Oct. 10) at the Michigan State University Pavilion for Agriculture and Livestock Education, in East Lansing, Mich., beginning at 11 a.m.

Sam M. Hodgett, 88, died Oct. 3, 2024, at his home in rural Sheffield, Ill., with his daughters by his side.

Sharon Marie Pratt, 60, of Macedonia, Ohio passed away peacefully on October 1, 2024. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 5, 1963 to the late Allen Jeglie and the late Delores Jeglie (nee Neradil).
