Northfield, OH — Northfield Park is announcing the addition of a $7,500 Pick-5 total pool guarantee on Monday (Sept. 16). Beginning in race two, the $7,500 Pick-5 guaranteed total pool includes a carryover of $1,996.

This wager is being offered as part of the Strategic Wagering Program through the United States Trotting Association. Also part of the program are the evening’s $10,000 guaranteed pools in the Pick-4 beginning in the seventh race, Pick-4 starting in race 11 and the 20-cent Super High Five offered in race 13.

The evening’s ninth race begins the 20-cent Northfield Single Six with a $4,345 carryover.

Northfield’s Pick-5, Pick-4s, Pick-3s, 20-cent Northfield Single Six and 20-cent Super High Five offer a reduced takeout rate of just 14 percent.

In addition to great wagering opportunities, Monday also offers guests the Pigskins and Ponies Handicapping Contest. The contest’s objective is to successfully select winners at both harness racing and football. The evening’s promotion is FREE to enter and offers a $300 top prize!
