Cumberland, ME–First Tracks Cumberland management has announced that due to the freezing rain forecast for Saturday (Dec. 11), followed by thawing conditions, the tracks 47th racing date will be postponed from Saturday to Monday (Dec. 13). The same program, entries, and previously drawn races will be carried over to Monday

“In full support of the horsemen, and considering the circumstances, we felt that the best course of action was to postpone the entire card for 48 hours,” stated racing secretary Marc Reynolds.

The Sunday (Dec. 12) program remains unchanged and will be held at the regular 11 a.m. post time.

Due to the USTA’s on-line entry system, the change in date will not be reflected on the USTA website until Saturday morning.
