Daley Suspension Stayed

The Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey has stayed the 180 day suspension of trainer Noel Daley.

Daley was suspended by the New Jersey Racing Commission, with the penalty set to begin next week, for an elevated post race blood gas result in connection with the horse Night Mystery in a race at The Meadowlands in February, 2005.

Daley will have a hearing with the Office of Administrative Law. The ruling regarding the stay did not specify a date for that hearing. Daley has a May 4 court date in Chesterfield Township, NJ, regarding charges brought as a resultof a search of his barn in March.
