Pompano Beach, FL — The stage is set for one of the most highly anticipated $4,000 claiming races in the history of horse racing. It will be the 10th and final race on Wednesday night (May 20) at the Isle Casino Pompano Park, with a $202,965 carryover into the 20 cent Super Hi-Five, featuring a mandatory payout. Estimated post time is 10:40 p.m. (EDT).

The tenth race will feature a group of 11 pacers, with numbers 10 and 11 starting from the second tier. Both ‘Also Eligibiles’ (12 and 13) have been officially scratched.

The large field and competitive nature of the group could yield a large return to patrons involved in the Hi-Five wager. It will be the largest pool in the 51-year history of the South Florida harness track, with estimates ranging all over the board for a total pool figure.

The Isle Casino Pompano Park has assembled a team of some of the brightest handicappers from all across the sport to provide their insight into the race. Their opinions can be found by clicking here.

Live racing continues at the Isle Casino Pompano Park on Wednesday and Saturday evenings through June 27, with a first post of 7:30 p.m. (EDT).
