Foiled Again celebrated at Midwest Horse Fair

Madison, WI — The 40th annual Midwest Horse Fair was held Friday-Sunday (April 12-14) in Madison, Wis., at the Alliant Energy Center. While a mix of rain and snow threatened Thursday and Sunday, sunny but windy days did not deter horse enthusiasts from across the country from attending and Standardbred celebrity Foiled Again did not disappoint.

Situated front and center in the breed pavilion, Foiled Again posed for photos and his caretakers answered questions about his breeding and racing history, as well as general harness racing questions.

Foiled Again was featured as a Celebrity Horse during the Grand March, a presentation including 40 breeds, both Friday and Saturday. He also was a professional act during the Legendary Night performance on Saturday evening before a sold-out crowd of 8,000 in the Blain’s Farm and Fleet Coliseum arena.

“It was an honor to shine the spotlight on Foiled Again and his amazing career during our 40 Years of Legends celebration,” said Midwest Horse Fair Event Coordinator Nichole Glynn. “We are grateful to his connections for sharing him, allowing equine enthusiasts the opportunity to meet the living legend.”

All told, the 40 Years of Legends weekend brought in 60,037 people from across the country, which makes it one of the largest events held at the Alliant Energy Center.

Be sure to make plans to attend next year’s “All Trails Lead to Midwest Horse Fair” event, held April 17-19, 2020. For more information about the Midwest Horse Fair, visit their website.
