Gingras wins four at Harrah’s Philadelphia

Chester, PA — Driver Yannick Gingras won four races at Harrah’s Philadelphia on Friday afternoon (July 17), including his last three starts. Two of his victories came with pacers for trainer Ron Burke.

The Somebeachsomewhere gelding Lifeonthebeach A fronted his field home in 1:51.2 for Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi. The Yankee Cruiser gelding Ginger Tree Marty went just a tick slower in finishing first for Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi, J&T Silva- Purnel & Libby and Lawrence Karr.

Pit Master, a sophomore gelded son of Father Patrick out of Graceful Kelly, who is a full sister to Muscle Mass and Muscle Massive, made his career debut in stylish fashion, stepping home in 1:56.3. Greg Peck conditions the promising youngster for Wellbourne Farms SE.

Gingras’s fourth winner also came on the trot, with the Andover Hall gelding Carrick, who drew clear through the last quarter while stopping the timer in 1:54.4 for a new mark. Kevin McDermott trains Carrick for owner Joseph Zicchino.

Moon Bridge, an E L Titan sophomore colt who won $157,202 at two, posted his first win of 2020 in dominant fashion. Moon Bridge went down the road in :27.3, :56.4, and 1:24.2, finishing out the mile in 1:52.2, just a tick behind the divisional track record of Googoo Gaagaa. Andy Miller was behind the impressive victory for trainer Åke Svanstedt and owners Esa Lahtinen, Janne Korpi, and Jussi Hietalahti.
