Bythebook, a gelding sired by GooGoo GaaGaa and out of a mare by Viking Kronos, is Europe’s fastest 2-year old in 2018.

Trained by Svante Baath and driven by Ôrjan Kihlström, Bythebook won an elimination for the Breeders Prize at Solvalla in 1.57f. He was two lengths ahead of stablemate, Muscle Valky (Muscle Hill) who was driven by Erik Adielsson.

Bythebook took his third win from 5 races.

GooGoo GaaGaa, who is available in Europe from frozen semen, has 25 foals in his 2016 crop in Sweden. Just three of those have raced, but this is a normal figure for a Swedish stallion. For instance, Muscle Hill‘s crop in Sweden in 2016 was 77 foals, and five of those have raced.

In Italy the 2-year-old colt, Amber Prad with trainer/driver Alessandro Gocciadoro was timed in a new world record at the track in Bologne.

Amber Prad (Timoko) won a race for 2-year old trotters over 2,060 m (1-5/16 mile) in 2.00.1h.

Light Kronos (SJ’s Photo) held the old record at that distance (2.01.4h) from 2007.
