International Trot brings fans together from all over the world

Yonkers, NY — Join the conversation with harness racing fans from around the globe by using the hashtag #InternationalTrot for the $1 million International Trot at Yonkers Raceway on Saturday (Oct. 10).

If you are looking for more direct news — straight from the horse’s mouth — you are in luck as several contenders in the field are already quite active online.

Probably the biggest Internet equine celebrity in the race is the French trotter Timoko. His official website is timoko.nl/en and you can follow him on Twitter @timoko3 or on Facebook where there is more than one page dedicated to the popular trotter.

The Norwegian trotter Papagayo E has an active Facebook page with many updates and photos at facebook.com/papagayoe.

The Swedish trotter Mosaique Face has updates available through the Lutfi Kolgjini Stable website, kolgjini.se.

On raceday, everyone around the world can enjoy free live video of the races from Yonkers online at www.yonkersraceway.com/livevideo.

Post positions for the International Trot will be drawn on Tuesday (Oct. 6).

Bettors can take advantage of a 50-cent Pick-5 wager where $25,000 will be added to the pool by the SOA of NY and the gross pool is guaranteed at $75,000. The Pick-5 starts in race two Saturday with an approximate post time of 2:20 p.m. Free past performances will be available at www.internationaltrot.com and www.yonkersraceway.com/pick5 courtesy of TrackMaster.
