Columbus, OH — James (Jim) Champion, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle, a recent resident of Winter Park, Florida, is survived by his wife Susie, children Crystal, Nancy, Janey, Anthony, Shane, Heather and their families of 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was a horseman throughout his life, as a harness racing trainer and driver in New York, then becoming a farrier in his later career prior to moving to Florida.

Services will be held on Thursday, November 7th from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday, November 8th from 11 a.m. to Noon at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home 1654 N. Semoran Blvd Orlando Florida 32807.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association. His sense of humor, sharp wit, and love will be missed by all who knew him.
