Bill McLinchey, Senior Manager of Racing for the Woodbine Entertainment Group, presents Jody Jamieson with a sign in recognition of his 7,000th career driving victory behind pacer Frankie Boy.

In the evening’s seventh race, Jamieson guided pacer Frankie Boy to victory in a division of the Autumn Series for his 7,000th career win.

Jamieson, 37, entered the night three wins shy of the milestone, but quickly moved in on the 7,000 win plateau after scoring victories in the second and sixth race.

The Moffat, Ontario resident has been consistently among the top drivers on the Woodbine Entertainment Group circuit over the last decade and was the circuit’s top driver in 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2012.

Jamieson has captured several of the sport’s most prestigious titles including the North America Cup twice, the Little Brown Jug and the Maple Leaf Trot.

In August 2013, Jamieson reached the C$100 million mark in career earnings.

This season, Jamieson has recorded 254 wins and earnings of just under C$5 million, while his career earnings number sits at more than C$107 million.

The Woodbine Entertainment Group would like to congratulate Jody on his accomplishment and wish him continued success.
