Columbus, OH — The deadline to apply for the 2020 USTA Matching Funds Grant program for fairs has been extended  to May 8.

Applications must be postmarked by or emailed to jessica.schroeder@ustrotting.com by 11:59 p.m. Friday (May 8) to be considered. A confirmation email of receipt will be sent no matter which method is used to submit the application.

The Matching Funds Grant program will cover half, up to $1,000, of a selected applicant’s marketing budget to support promotion of harness racing at the county fair level. Applications and examples of winning proposals and other ideas are available at fairs.ustrotting.com.

Since its inception in 2006, the program has awarded funding to 92 different fairs and horsemen’s groups. Questions about the program can be directed to Jessica Schroeder at jessica.schroeder@ustrotting.com.
