The 2010 edition of the Elitlopp will be one of the best ever with the fastest trotters from Europe as well as North America.
On Thursday the French trotter Oyonnax, who won the 2010 Prix d’Amerique, got his invitation and Triton Sund of Sweden was added to the list as well. With these new additions, 14 trotters have now been invited to participate in the race.
Earlier, the German website trabtipp.de reported that Cutler Memorial winner Arch Madness was headed to Europe for the race, together with stablemate Neighsay Hanover, who was going to compete in a race for the best 4-year-old trotters. At this moment, however, Arch Madness is not among the horses that are headed for the Elitlopp.
Andy Miller, who will travel to Sweden to drive Dan Patch Award winner Lucky Jim in the Elitlopp, will get a feel for European racing a few days prior to the big race, as he is going to drive twice on Wednesday night, May 26, at Solvalla.
