The Kevin Switzer-trainee was a comfortable front end winner over Hiro Knockout and Clear Mist. The Southwind Lynx colt improved to 4-for-6 in his young career and will be one of the favorites in the October 4 $100,000 final.

Team Teague won two of the divisions, including It’s Pronounced Jif ($2.20, Montrell Teague) for owner George Teague and trainer Clyde Francis. The Southwind Lynx colt came out a nose ahead in a tight photo with runner up Imwoncaptainwiser, while Callaland was third. Teague had five driving wins on the program.

George Teague and K&R Racing’s It’s Above Me Now ($3.60, Montrell Teague) prevailed in 1:57. Also a son of Southwind Lynx, he held off race favorite Ds Heartland for his second career win. Badlands N Wine was third. It’s Above Me Now is also trained by Francis.

Eric Foster’s Bad And Boujee ($4.20, Russell Foster) won the remaining division in 1:55.4. The Badlands Hanover gelding was a two-length winner over Johnny Badlands and Nipsey.
