Stakes winner Safe From Terror sells for $210,000

Harrisburg, PA — Safe From Terror, a 3-year-old pacing filly who captured the 2015 Pennsylvania Sires Stakes championship and the Nadia Lobell, was sold for $210,000 on Friday (Nov. 6) at the Standardbred Mixed Sale in Harrisburg.

The daughter of Western Terror-In A Safe Place was consigned by Preferred Equine Marketing and sold to Jim Arledge Jr. as agent. Safe From Terror won 11 of 22 starts this year and banked $438,182 while in the care of trainer Ron Burke.

The 3-year-old filly pacer Band Of Angels and 3-year-old filly trotter Katniss also were hammered down for $210,000 on Friday.

Band Of Angels (Rock N Roll Heaven-Time N Again) was also consigned by Preferred Equine Marketing and was purchased by Willow Oak Ranch. She earned $301,042 this year, thanks in part to a win in the New York Sire Stakes final for trainer Ron Burke.

Katniss (Credit Winner-Armbro Deja Vu) was sold to Diamond Creek Farm from the Northwood Bloodstock Agency consignment. She is a full sister to $1.1 million winner Dejarmbro and took a mark of 1:53 this year at Vernon Downs while earning $65,953.
