Järvsöfaks was voted Horse of the Year no less than three times (either breed). He won 201 races from 234 starts and earned 21.3 million SEK (or $2.4 million).

Järvsöfaks was the first cold-blooded to trot faster than 1:18.0 — an average record for 1,000 meters (European style). That is a 2:05.3 mile rate.

Järvsöfaks was not only a winner at the racetrack, but he was also a champion sire, who has more than 50 millionaires between his offspring.

Järvsöfaks will be cremated and put to rest in the field where he used to spend hours every day.

It will not be difficult to find the site where Järvsöfaks is buried as the road in Hudiksval leading down to the farm of trainer Jan-Oliv Persson, who handled Järvsöfaks, is named Järvsöfaks!
