Columbus, OH – The U.S. Trotting Association website, www.ustrotting.com, launched new features for the USTA Strategic Wagering Program, mutuel information and 3-Year-Olds on Tuesday (May 18).

The red horse head logo of the Strategic Wagering Program has been added in several places on the Strategic Wagering pages and within the Entries and Results information on the website to identify more easily wagers with guaranteed pools that are part of the program.

Also in results, the sire and dam has been added for all 3-Year-Olds, as it is with 2-Year-Olds, and indicates whether each horse is 2- or 3-Years-Old.

The Strategic Wagering schedule page at handicapping.ustrotting.com provides a new search function by track, date(s) and specific type of wager as well as historical results for 90 days.  Also, all instant wagers are indicated by the letters “INST” with the handle from the previous bet that was not hit that led to an instant wager.

In Entries, the logo has been added next to each of the tracks that have Strategic Wagers on their wagering menu that day.  By hovering on the icon with the mouse, the “Tool Tip” function identifies the type of wager(s) and the pool guarantee(s).

The logo has also been incorporated in the results and mutuel payouts.  Every Strategic Wager from each track is identified by the logo in the results of the race.  In addition, all exotic and multi-race wagers now include the minimum wager and the payouts based upon that minimum wager amount, any money that was added to the pool, any guarantee for the pool, the new money wagered into the pool and any carryover that results from the bet not being hit.
