Wagner wins five on Wednesday at Rosecroft

Ft. Washington, MD —– Driver John Wagner put on a clinic at Rosecroft Raceway, winning five times on the night before Thanksgiving (Nov. 21).

He swept the early daily double with Threedee Delight A ($6.60), a new acquisition for Robert Pulley and trainer Sheldon Powell and his own new horse Airborne Hanover ($2.40) for leading trainer Arlene Cameron.

Wagner also scored with Rissy’s All In ($3.60) giving Cameron a double, Bryson Dunning’s Real Flight ($3.40) and the best moment of the night came when he put 14-year-old Talbot Redneck in the winner’s circle for the 56th time in his career. The chestnut son of Misfit has been with breeder David Donahue and trainer Ken Schlotzhauer his entire career.

Trainer-driver Mark Gray picked up three wins on the card, steering Motel Molly ($21.00); Flying Pirate, a placed winner ($65.00); and Hot Hot Jenna ($7.20), who has had a tremendous fall meet, winning for the fourth time.

Heidi Van Vliet’s KG Rocks ($7.80) took the mares feature for Jason Green in 1:53.1.
