Dover, DE — Wiggle It Jiggleit (George Teague Jr.) qualified on a chilly Wednesday morning (Nov. 13) at Dover Downs.

Teague Jr. replaced his son, Montrell Teague, who suffered a broken wrist last week while loading horses.

Wigglie It Jiggleit was guided to the front by Teague, while Uncle Coz (Mike Cole) took up the pocket position behind the world champion. Wiggle It Jiggleit set early fractions of :28.1, :57.2, and 1:25.3 while coming home in :29.3 to a final time of 1:55.1 while winning by a length. Because of temperatures in the Dover area, judges allowed for a two second variance.

This was Wiggle It Jiggleit’s first qualifier since his last pari-mutuel effort on Sept. 30, when he was third in an Open event at Harrington Raceway.
