Yonkers placing big Pick-5 pool money on the table

Yonkers, NY — If you’re a fan of Yonkers Raceway’s Pick-5 wager, good for you. If not, become one — quickly.
Monday night (Oct. 5), the Raceway’s usual $10,000 guaranteed pool is enhanced with a carryover of $6,537.25 (50-cent base wager, races seven through 11).
While that’s not exactly chopped liver, we again offer a reminder about Saturday’s International Trot matinee card. Try a $75,000 guaranteed Pick-5 pool, complete with $25,000 of seed money.
Some notes about that day:
- special first post is 2 p.m.
- $1 million International Trot, with 10 starters at a distance of 1-1/4 miles, is the fourth race (approximate post 3:10 p.m.
- Pick-5 that day only is comprised of races two through six (again, 50-cent base wager)
