You’re Majestic hangs tough late in Meadows co-feature

Washington, PA — You’re Majestic quarter-poled to the front for trainer/driver Doug Snyder, then held off a pair of challengers late to capture Tuesday’s (Aug. 6) co-feature at The Meadows, a $12,700 Filly & Mare conditioned trot.

In the companion feature, a $12,700 Filly & Mare conditioned pace, McDazzle prevailed in 1:52.1 for Dave Palone, trainer Ron Burke and owners Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi.

You’re Majestic was a 1:55.1 winner on Tuesday. Chris Gooden photo.

Once You’re Majestic reached the point, her work wasn’t done; in the stretch, she was pressured outside by Firedbylindie and in the Lightning Lane by EZ Passer. But the 7-year-old daughter of Majestic Son-You’re Adorable was up to the task, downing Firedbylindie by a length in 1:55.1, with EZ Passer third.

Frank Poerio Jr. campaigns You’re Majestic, who now boasts $556,782 in career earnings.

Palone and trainer Cory Kreiser each fashioned a triple on the 13-race card.

Live racing at The Meadows resumes Wednesday, first post 1:05 p.m.
