$100,000 bonus on the line at Pompano Park

Pompano Beach, FL — Both 2-year-old trotters, Whosgoinwhosstayin and Pearl Of Capri, are not only putting their winning streaks on the line Wednesday (September 24) at the Isle Pompano Park Harness Track, but also their chances at a $100,000 bonus.

Each horse must win his or her respective $14,000 final of the Florida Sunshine State Stakes to remain eligible for the $100,000 bonus. Whosgoinwhosstayin is undefeated in eight starts and Pearl Of Capri has won her last six starts. There are four Florida Sire Stakes finals each horse must win to get the $100,000 bonus.

There are also two $14,000 finals for 3-year-old trotters Wednesday as Southern Rain goes for his 12th straight win in the colt and gelding division and Baileysirishdream tries for her seventh straight win in the filly final division.

Pearl Of Capri starts from the rail for driver Dan Celments in a non-wagering race at 7:00 p.m. Whosgoinwhosstayin is in the first race from post six for driver Mickey McNichol. Baileysirishdream is featured in the second race for driver/trainer Robert Roberts from post two and Southern Rain starts from post five for driver Bruce Ranger in the third race.

Whosgoinwhosstayin, Baileysirishdream and Southern Rain are all barred from wagering in their respective races.

Another horse on a winning streak Wednesday is Tweedle Dum, who heads the fifth race $12,000 Open Trot. Tweedle Dum is going for his eighth straight win from post six for driver Walter Ross, Jr.
