Washington, PA — Fourteen 2-year-olds will take to the track on Friday morning (May 25) at The Meadows in qualifying events, the first freshmen to appear this season at the Washington County (PA) track.

The first three qualifying races, beginning at 11 AM, will feature youngsters, most of which are making their first appearance behind the gate.

Two entrants, BSMaximummoondream (t,2:12.4h) and DVC Jaded Attitude (p,2:06h) were winners in matinee races last week for trainer/driver David Brickell.

In all, twelve different sires are represented among the 10 trotters and four pacers that will face the starter. Trainer Walter “Boots” Dunn will send the most youngsters to the track for the day, five.
