2011 Simulcast Conference set for Scottsdale

Elkton, MD — The Thoroughbred Racing Associations has announced Scottsdale, Ariz., as the host city for the 19th annual International Simulcast Conference. The 2011 conference will be held at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort from Oct. 3-5.

The TRA co-sponsors the annual event with Harness Tracks of America, in conjunction with the American Greyhound Track Operators Association.

Each year the conference attracts more than 250 racing executives and personnel to address the topics of chief importance to the pari-mutuel industry, including simulcasting, account wagering, wagering security, and technology.

The Scottsdale Plaza Resort is located near Camelback Mountain in the beautiful Valley of the Sun and is less than 30 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Special conference room rates will begin at $159 per night.
