Elkton, MD — The Thoroughbred Racing Associations has announced New Orleans as the host city for the 24th annual International Simulcast Conference. The 2016 conference will be held at Harrah’s New Orleans Hotel and Casino, Sept. 26-28.

The TRA co-sponsors the annual event with the Harness Tracks of America.

Each year the conference attracts more than 225 racing executives and personnel to address the topics of chief importance to the pari-mutuel industry, including simulcasting, account wagering, wagering security and technology.

Harrah’s New Orleans Hotel and Casino is located in the heart of the Big Easy. Enjoy a short walk or streetcar ride to the restaurants and entertainment venues of Bourbon Street and the French Quarter, as well as many culturally and historically-rich destinations. A special conference room rate of $169 (not including taxes and fees) will be offered.
