Pompano Beach, FL — Here’s information about the FSBOA’s breeders incentive program and the non-Florida bred out of state sired foals.

Breeders incentive form is only for Florida sired foals born this year to receive the bonus money. No application fee is due.

1. You must register your foal with the USTA first ASAP
2. Then register with the FSBOA by Aug. 15

Out of state non-FL bred sired foals:

1. Is for out of state sired foals born in Florida only that would like to race in the FL stakes
2. You must register your foal with the USTA first ASAP
3. Then register with the FSBOA by Aug. 15, plus pay a $100 application fee
4. Your foals will not be eligible to race in the Stallion Stakes only
5. You must make the 2-year-old sustaining payments by March 15 and May 15 to be eligible to race in the Florida Breeders Stake, Sunshine State Stake and the Melvyn Aylor Stake
6. Starting this breeding season, you don’t have to breed back to a FL sire anymore
