East Rutherford, NJ — The 2021 Breeders Crown Charity Challenge presented by the Libfeld-Katz Breeding Partnership kicks off July 3 and culminates on Breeders Crown weekend, Oct. 29-30.

This year’s Challenge intends to raise awareness of the positive contributions harness racing makes in the tri-state area, especially New Jersey.

The 2021 designated charities are:

• New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund
• John Theurer Cancer Center @ Hackensack

This year, the non-profit organizations will be paired with an elite driver/trainer team on July 3 during a draw ceremony after race two at The Meadowlands. he charities are encouraged to cheer their team on via social media and through online fan voting in hopes of earning the most Breeders Crown challenge points.

Funds for the Breeders Crown Charity Challenge are generated by donations from some of the industry’s most notable breeders, trainers and drivers. The additional funds will be raised through the donation of a 2022 breeding to some of the industry’s top stallions at the 2021 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale.
