Campbellville, ON — A single winning ticket correctly selected the top five finishers in Monday night’s (July 13) final race at Mohawk Racetrack to score a $25,910.30 return on the Jackpot Hi-5 wager.

The horseplayer that hit the ‘Jackpot’ Monday made 11 unique 20 cent straight wagers on the Jackpot Hi-5, with one of them selecting the correct combination.

The winning horseplayer, who resides in Hamilton, Ontario, made the wagers through Horseplayer Interactive Mobile.

Fashion Maven at odds of 9-2 won the Jackpot Hi-5 race, while Wildcat Lightning, the 8-5 favorite, finished fourth.

The official top five finishers from Monday’s Jackpot Hi-5 race are as follows:

1st-#6 Fashion Maven–9-2
2nd-#7 Librado Hanover–21-1
3rd-#9 Kona Kid–25-1
4th-#10 Wildcat Lightning–8-5
5th-#4 Shippen Out–6-1

The entire Jackpot Hi-5 pool and carryover is only paid out when there is a single winning ticket with the correct combination. If there are multiple winning tickets, half of the evening’s pool is paid out to the winners, while the other half is carried over to the following card.

The Jackpot Hi-5 now starts from scratch Tuesday night at Mohawk.
