Anderson, IN — With a carryover in excess of $15,000, Hoosier Park Racing & Casino will offer a $40,000 guaranteed Pick-5 pool for Thursday (Oct. 15).

In partnership with the United States Trotting Association Strategic Wagering program and the Indiana Standardbred Association, Hoosier Park will offer this signature wager for the 13-race card on Thursday that is set to begin at 5:45 p.m.

Two longshot winners in Wednesday’s Pick-5 sequence sparked a carryover of $15,068.23 and will kick-start the Pick-5 pool for Thursday.

Thursday’s 13-race card will be highlighted by a $25,000 Indiana Sires Stakes eligible race for the 3-year-old colt trotters.

The Pick-5, which offers a 50-cent minimum wager, will begin in the ninth race of the evening and continue through the 13th race of the program. Approximate post time for the first leg of the wager, the ninth race, is 8:25 p.m. (EDT).

Live racing at Hoosier Park will follow a Tuesday-Saturday schedule, with a new, daily post time of 5:45 p.m. The 160-day, all harness racing meet will be conducted through Nov. 14.
