Pompano Beach, FL — There were two horses covered heading into the final leg of Wednesday’s (March 6) Pick-5 at Pompano, but oddly enough no one had the even-money favorite Thundercrest ($4.20), who triggered a $7,388 carryover with his victory.

Track officials, in conjunction with the USTA’s Strategic Wagering Program, have placed an ‘instant guarantee’ of $35,000 on the total pool for Thursday (March 7).

Fans will also enjoy a single night carryover of $1,256 in the 50-cent Pick-6 beginning in race three, and a $15,000 guaranteed Pick-4 that begins in race five.
