List of Mares Bred due Sept. 1

Columbus, OH — Stallion owners are responsible for submitting their List of Mares Bred to the USTA by Tuesday (Sept. 1.)

Submissions can be done through your USTA MyAccount 24 hours a day by logging in here, then choosing ‘Horse’ and ‘List of Mares Bred.’ The cost is $5 per mare when submitted through Sept. 1. Late submissions are $10 per mare.

You may also send the List of Mares Bred form via email to memberservices@ustrotting.com, fax to 844.229.1338 or mail it, postmarked by Sept 1, to the office. Stallion owners can verify that a List of Mares Bred is processed by accessing their USTA MyAccount in their “My Horses” section. Select List of Mares Bred and then choose the correct breeding year and stallion name.

Once submitted, the List of Mares Bred produces the mating certificate, which must be returned to the USTA once the stud fee has been satisfied in order to complete the registration of foals. Mating certificates can be released online through a stallion owner’s USTA MyAccount, or signed mating certificates can be mailed in to the USTA office. Mating certificates cannot be submitted via email or fax.

Mare owners can verify that a mating certificate has been released or submitted by the stallion owner by visiting their USTA MyAccount in their “My Horses” section. Select Broodmare Activity and then choose the correct breeding year. Check the “M.C. Released” column for your list of broodmares — a ‘Yes’ in that column indicates the mating certificate is on file at the USTA.
