Dover, DE – Artrageous benefitted from a letter prefect drive by Art Stafford Jr. and upset the field, at odds of 58-1 at Dover Downs on Wednesday (Nov.4) night.

My Last Bet and driver Montrell Teague were able to carve out the race fractions of :27.4 :56.4 1:24 uncontested.
Valuable Art pulled first over but could not reach the leader. Artful Dancer was second over, but could not gain any ground.

At the top of the stretch Art Stafford Jr. pulled the pocket and won by one and three-quarter length for his brother Andrew Stafford. The winning time was 1:52.1. The last half mile was paced in :55.2 with a last quarter in :28.1

Artrageous ( Art Major) is owned by Benson, Johannsen, Stafford and Case and paid $118.60 to win.

The one to two race favorite, Soho Burning Love A was a victim of poor race positioning but was charging home when clearance was found. Tim Tetrick drove Soho Burning Love A for trainer Jim King Jr. Moments of Joy finished third and was driven by Victor Kirby for trainer Bryan Truitt.
